http://jee.iitm.ac.in/allotcourses/faq.pdfIt is clearly mentioned in the JEE website that paying 40,000 Rs after the 1st allotment is equivalent to accepting the offer and will not be eligible to give JEE next year.So,all aspirants,be careful,and pay the fees only if u rinterested in the branch offered

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
