Your rank is quite good enough to fetch you some branch of your choice at the best of NITs. As you are more interested in salary you should choose comp. sc. branch but one thing if you dont have enough knowledge of computers , please dont prefer to opt for it as you will need to work really hard there. The best NITs for which you should go for : -

1. Trichy
2. Warangal
3. Nagpur
4. Surat
5. IIIT Allahabad.

Both the comp and elec. are equally good branch but you should go with your interest and how much you are ready to work after getting into some college.
