I would suggest you go for Mtech in IIT Roorkee. See the branch metallurgy has a great scope there is no doubt. IIT brand would be with you. This is a plus point. A mechanical engineering from NITs is also good but I would have prefererred it only if CSE or ECE wrer the courses you were getting into them. I know many people who are pursuing the same course from IIT Roorkee and they are satisfied with this. I think you should go with it.
