Sir, I am getting an OBC rank of 760 in IIT JEE 2010. I would prefer madras or hyderabad. Please tell me whether chemical or civil at IIT madras is better or electrical at IIT hyderabad is better. I am ready to take up any branch if i am getting at IIT.

Old IITs are establised and to rank IITs.so you should try for IIT madras first .Then for IIT Hydrabad
with this rank IIT madras is difficult to get ,you are likely to get IIT hydrabad .
