mine state rank (DELHI) is 969 aieee do ihave chances for mechanical in dce . since i want to give jee next year and want to achieve a top slot would i get enough time for this in dce .Well i am also getting hbti kanpur (uptu see rank 142).what would be best for me.

My rank in JEE Advanced 2022 is 1871. Should I go for IIT Guwahati ECE or IIT Kanpur Mechanical and try for a branch change to CS or Electrical Engineering? Is changing your branch very difficult?
