my rank in iit-jee is 580.... i wanted to know that if i can get the 5 yr dual degree electrical course at iitk .. shud i opt for it over mechanical at iitk....and whether i shud take mechanical at iitkanpur or at delhi???

You will surely have a chance to get 5 year dual degree ECE. from IIT- k .
As about choosing which option i wud suggest you to go for a branch of your choice rather then any thing else.
doing a b.Tech wud be more flexible then a dual course as you wud have an option to change your stream after first year You will also have an option to go for a job or an MBa while in a Dual course you wud find your self stuck . Thus think and decide what you wud choose .
