sir..........i got 7251 gen. rank............u replied that with this rank i can get any branch in the new iits............but lookin at the last year counselling details it doesnt seem that............plz reply if there is some other reason for that reply..........!!!!!!!

With 7251 you will have a chance in new IIT's may be not the top most branches but  will surely manage  a decent one . As about not able to figure out a branch in the old list its coz this year there have been an increase in the no. of seats thus you will have a chance to get a branch like Textile , Bio. Tech , Metallurgy Etc .
