i am selected in iit-jee-2010 and is getting mechanical branch in new iit's (acc to last year ranks)... i have heard that mechanical branch is not suitable for girls...... as i am a girl ,should i go for some other branch(ee/cs) in ismu or mechanical branch in new iit's is ok please help me.......pleaseeeeeee

Its a misconception that girls can't do mechanical engineering. In fact there have been cases where girls were among toppers in this stream. So you should certainly consider taking up this stream if you are interested in it.
