I think you should give preference to a branch of your choice rather then an thing else . 

Apart from the amongst the listed You can go for metallurgy is has less jobs but they are good paying jobs . Automotive Engg. also have a decent scope abroad .

As about the one's  in NEW IIT's MECH. ECE , CS all are almost equivalent when it comes to placements thus choose one of your liking.
