Sir plz tell me can i get a descent course like electrical, mechanical, civil or chemical in IITs with a rank of 6938?

You can get admission in old IITs .. you may not get the branch of your choice in IIT dellhi , bombay and kanpur .. but u ll surely get a decent  branch in old IIT.

You might have chance for ECE , Mech. Civil in New IIT's though
