Aerospace dual degree just means that you obtain both Bachelors and masters degree in aerospace from the same university. In case of IITs, you will be awarded both the degrees from IIT itself in 5 yrs of study. However, this degree is only as good as an M-Tech degree and not a PhD degree in itself. However, a dual degree in aerospace engineering from the IITs will surely put you in a position to obtain admissions to reputed PhD programmes in aerospace engineering across the world.
