I have got VITEEE-2010 rank 3194 and my counselling is on 04/06/2010 at VIT, Vellore. I tried my level best to get rail reservation to reach Vellore on 03/06/2010. But everywhere there is a waiting list of 200 - 500 there are no chance to get rail tickets. Air tickets are unaffordable. what to do now? Its not possible to delay counselling?

you have a good chance with VIT with this rank as the expected cutoffs are as below.

1.Rank<5000 : The branch of your choice
2. Rank<7000 : On the borderline for top branches CS,ECE
3. Rank<10000 : Branches EEE, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, etc for sure.
4. Rank<13000 : U will get the lower branches but in the second counseling

. As about shifting the dates i wud suggest you to give a call to the admission office of VIT for detailed information .
