Hi vivek,
This university is very good and has got status of deemed university by Ministry of Human Resources, Govt. of India. Vellore Institute of Technology is one of the reputed and recognized Universities in India.
The University has an honour of being first institution in India to be accredited by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Energy Institute (EI), UK.
VIT University offers 12 academic streams for B. Tech. programme every year. More or less one lac students appear for the entrance exam which is held around in 70 cities all over India.
