kindly clarify. What are the job prospects for the 5 year courses offiered by IITs - electrical and electronics- especially in kharagpur. do they carry any value and respect ? what are the chances getting reasonably good jobs ?

The course provides a sound foundation in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering , followed by a specialized two-semester programme in Automation and Computer Vision Engineering.

This includes a number of advanced subjects in the areas of Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks,Pattern Recognition, Automation and Robotics Vision,Advanced Computer Architecture, Computer Networks,Multimedia Systems, etc. The students are required to complete two major projects.
