Peptide bond and glycosidic bonds are formned as a result of condensation reaction (Dehydration reaction is a subsidy of the that), which involves an organic acid and organic base group to form salt. Removal of water is the characteristic of these types of reaction.

Peptide bond in case of Protein formation and glycoside bond in case of polymerisation of monosaccharides to for polysaccharides.
