Dear Student.
Beta rays are negatively charged electron beams, the positively charged nucleus on its bombardment will attract them. We won’t observe the that exact 180 degree deflections the ones we got in the case of alpha rays. We can not obtain foil for hydrogen as it is diatomic gas at room temperature. but when we do take an atom of hydrogen then the observations would be not like the one as Rutherford’s Experiment.
