what is the cutoff for IT and electrical in MNNIT ,with 170 marks in jee and 98.35 board percentile(2013) is it enough.. to get it..?

cutoff rank for GE in MNNIT, It and electrical are about 9000 and 15,000 respectively for home state according to previous years. According to your marks it is difficult. But if you belong to obc or other category you can get it for sure.

Don’t listen to people who talk about cutoff marks. IT placements at MNNIT have been brilliant this year with 90% students getting placed and average package of Rs. 8.54 LPA . On the contrary Electical average has been around Rs. 6 LPA and 70% placements. IT at MNNIT is the best choice to take after CSE at MNNIT or IT at IIIT A.
