Springs of spring constants k, 4k, 16k, .... 4096k are connected in series. A mass M kg is attached to the lower end of the last spring and the system is allowed to oscillate. What will be the time period of the oscillations ?

Calculate the eff Spring const and then proceed by pluging values in standard formula

(1/k_new) =(1/k) +(1/4k)+(1/16k) + …..(1/4096k)
=(1/k) (1+(1/4)+(1/16)........... )

eval GP and then proceed
