Is this true that after doing mech and getting into core companies still he can do software development(cs part) but not applicable vice versa ie cant go cs then mech? Also please suggest which field is better in future as to be in ac labs doing cs or to be with cars....Please help?

Both the branchs have its pros and cons.
So the choice of subject purely depends on your interest and what you will be comfortable with. Opportunies are immense in both the field.
So if you love to be coder and love programing go for CS and if you have interest for cars and its manufacturing go for mechanical.
