In the JEE Mains syllabus “unit 21 Hydrocabons” it is given “classification, isomerism, IUPAC nomenclature, general methods of preparation, properties and reactions”. Does it mean , you have to learn all these topics under each - Alkane, Alkene, Alkyne and Aromatic Hydrocarbons ? Please clarify the syllabus in hydrocarbons. Kindly guide me. thanks for your help. What should be learnt for that topic from the textbook ?
