if there are 3 spin values , how many elements will be in the 3rd period? Please reply me quickly i am very confusing about it . explain in simple word please.

If there are three spin values there would be 3 electrons in an orbital. In III period 3s and 3p subshells are filled .therefore total orbitals would be 1+3=4 .And according to question 1 orbital has 3 electrons therefore 4 orbitals would have 12 electrons and hence 12 elements .I hope you understand...i made the answer as easy as i can ...
