        I have a confusion.I am now going to class XII.There is  one competition KVPY. I need to know whether I should give the examination or not. It is having a specific criteria for awarding scholarship.Criteria is-
If selected for fellowship,scholarship will be awarded only when that person pursue a course in  undergraduate course in Basic Sciences, that are, B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Biotechnology, Neurosciences, Bioinformatics, Marine Biology, Geology, Human Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Materials Science or Environmental Science.
But I am very much intended to do engineering.But I am also having interest in KVPY.Sir,please help me.Should I give KVPY examination?

							kvpy is only fro students who want to puesue research in basic science.if you want to have career in research field the go for it but in engg it does not apply.you should prepare for iitjee.seriously get into iit and do M.S.
