i am a cbse board student i have scored vey badly in jee mains (scored 65) as i focused only on cbse board in 12 th class i am thinking of taking a drop but many people say that u should consider dropping if an only if u cleared jee mains in first attempt why do they say this?? and if i take drop should i go for coaching or self study as i think i can study better if i d o self study but if i choose self study then i will miss tests and the concepts teached in coaching centers what to do?

this is very crucial decission and life changing also, it is very easy to say about drop but it matters a lot
if u score more than 90 in boards then think about drop because if u drop and will score atlest 160 next time there is hope for good college  , otherwise there is no need to drop and take admisssion in any college like jaypee noida,chitkara university etc and start coding to excel.
u can also try for bitsat , ipu , upes these are also good colleges
in case of drop u must join a good coaching for proper guideline and updated material , 
this is not matter whether u qualify jee main first time or not these are just people thoughts that had no logic in reality
board result will be declared on  20MAY  so  hope for the best
