Hey no they can’t change the choices they can help you maybe fill the choices properly. But anyways you can also changes it. once round 2 counselling starts.
It goes like this

Round 1 starts
you submit choices
they annouce results
If you like you freeze it or else wait for next round to start


Round 2 starts
you submit choices
they annouce results
If you like you freeze it or else wait for next round to start


Round 3 starts
you submit choices
they annouce results
If you like you freeze it or else wait for next round to start

Number of rounds are not fixed but this goes on till all the seats are filled.

If the branch is not locked.freezed fromthe back end then there are chances to change it otherwise not possibe.....but you may certtainly go for the second way i.e. to try seeking admission with your desired branch at some other top rated institutions like – Maharaj Sayajirao Uni of Baroda, Vadodra,............LOvely Professional Uni, Phagwara,..........PES Uni, Bangalore
