How is the flow of magnetic lines of force directed in a magnet ,from N to S or from S to N?AND DOES THIS FLOW MEAN THE FLOW OF PHOTONS?

The direction of magnetic field lines is nothing but the direction in which the compass needle will point if kept at that particular position. The magnetic field lines move from north to south outside the magnet and therefore south to north, inside the magnet.
