Dear student
In this question, both cis and trans alkene would be having different boiling points,heat of hydrogenation and dipole moment due to different arrangement of atoms around the double bond but if you will see the products of hydrogenation ; both cis-2-butene and trans-2-butene on reaction with h2 will yield n-butane.
