what are the prerequisities for studying solutions and electrochemistry in physical chemistry?

You dont need any prerequistes for studying the topics : SOLUTIONS and ELECTRO CHEMISTRY,

In solutions, it works with chemical reactions and balacing the chemical reactions etc...

so +1 and +2 chemistry text books shld give basics abt these and after that you can follow some of the standars books like P.bahadur, O,.P.Tandon etc...

its the same with electrochemistry too, here too u'll deal with balacing reactions, mainly change in oxidation states,

practice some standard reactions whihc we regularly see in pas questions papers and follow standars books for above..
