The ionisation potential increases across a period from left to right.

Therefore, among noble gases, helium posess the highest ionisation.

and among halogens, flourine posess the highest ionisation potential.

FlOurine will have grater I.E. in halogen family due to its very smaller size than others.

Of Course! noble gases have highest ionisation enrgy in compare of halogens.

Reason = Noble gases have all fully filled orbitals means their orbiltals are completely filled and halogens lacks behind dut to one deficieny of electron.

Therfore fully filled shell need or require more energy .i.e. ionisation enrgy to remove an electron from their last orbityal shell.

approve!
