The IIT senate and the MHRD in the meeting held this year in September decided that the minimum percentage to get an admission in IIT’s would be 75% or the student should have a top 20 percentile in the resective board.
If the boad doesn’t provide for the percentile, you can write an application to them and urge for it for the concerned purpose.
