H+ or the Hydrogen ions and OH- are the hydroxyl ion which makes a molecule acidic or basic.

H+ or OH- ions are obtained by H2O .H+ is hydrogen ion which has deficiency of electron and is released when a acid is dissolved in water. Whereas OH- is hydroxy group which has an extra electron and is released when a base reacts with water
