domain is the region of the complex plane bounded by two circumferences centered at the same point P, circumferences included. If you denote with r the radius of the smallest circumference, with R the radius of the largest and with z0 the complex number corresponding to P you can write the annular domain as
D = {z € C / r<= |z - z0| <= R}.
