You must start preparation for GRE and, try to score around 1360/ 1600 . After that apply in USA or europe universities for PHd.If u want to stay in india then u have to give GATE for Masters degree ( 2 year course ) and then u can apply for a Phd in IIT and after completion of phd u can join work as a professor or take the role of a scientist in some technical firm.
