MY GENERAL RANK IN UPTU IS 3009 AND GIRLS RANK IS 338. SHOLD I TAKE ANY BRANCH AT HBTI OR DROP 1 YEAR FOR DOING IIT?I DID NOT ANY COACHING THIS YEAR.
I would suggeat you to enrol yourself for HBTI and there prepare for IIT 2011 if you can.
But one year is nothing comprade to 60 years of life. Plus you have secured a very good rank after not getting coached. You should take a drop only if you are very sure. I have seen people who got the lower college after dropping a year.
If you feel that you can really do something the next year definitely take a drop and prepare hard. askiitians are with you.
