What is the age limit criteria for kvpy sb stream for general category?

there are no such age criteria for kvpy , exams , its only for regular student , 
and with reference to your previous ques , i would like to say that , you cannot appear kvpy , if u are simply taking drop . 
you can appear in kvpy simply if u join to any bsc programme after class 12^th without dropping . 
and if u are dropping , then do focus on engg / medical . 
else attend kvpy in class 11^th and 12^th
