Now at this stage...should i..prepare for 2017jee main only or for advance too

hello nitikaa even i am 2017 jee aspirant i asked my teacher the same question he said please prepare for advanced as u tend to do higher level questions  you will be prepared to face any kind of problem without any hesitation you will be able to crack them ,,and do know your basics too .thank you .good luck!!!!
