Is it necessary to cross the cutoff to come in the nit ranklist? Even if we have scored little less than the cutoff cant we expect to come up with our board marks and normalisation?

of course u will be able to get NIT  if u had cleared jee amin that is score more than cut off marks 
it does not matter whatever ur board percentage is , if u does not clear jee main
and if u had cleared jee main then cbse board percent will be helpful for u to get good rank and also vice versa
