I am trying to click on anwer to continue discussion but it is not working. Mechanical or Civil in old IITs is a better option or CS in IIT dhanbad. I have researched and found that CS has dramitically higher pay package than other branches is that so.

yes friend cs has higher pay packages as well as good placement options as compared to other branchs. but it also depends on from which college you had done cs.i mean civil or mechanical from a good iit has high pay package then cs from an other private college.

in this situation when you are too confused goes with that branch in which you are intereste the most because your complete life depends on it
