I am a X studying student, i am intrested to become scientist

My goal is to become scientist but i actually does not know to to achive it,some say crack IIT,KVPY,or M.SC etc. I have just got confuse what to do or what not to.Plese help me out.

Scientist is one who invents. Its very broad term, Whatever field you chose you can invent and become scientist. So first of all decide in which field (like cars,computers, medicine, maths, genetics etc.) you want to do research. Then i can guide you properly. Please revert after thinking the field.
