for rolle’s theorem,
- f(x) should be continuous in (a, b)
- f(x) should be diffrentiable in (a, b)
- if f(a)= f(b) then there exist a point c in(a, b) such that f’(c) = 0
now as we see that point 1 & point 2 is true.
now coming to the 3rd point

3 + 3 +4

3 – 2 = – 2

3 +1

3 + 3 – 4

3 – 2 = 2

but here f( –

3) is not equal to f(

3)
hence rolles theorem can’t be applied
