First qiestion is   Tan^{-1} 2x/1-x^2....
Now put x = tan\Theta...
So \Theta = tan^{-1}x................(1).....
So the qiestion becomes....
tan^{-1}(2tan\Theta/1- tan^{2}\Theta )
That is....tan^{-1}(tan2\Theta)...
That is...2 \Theta... = 2tan^{-1}x...  from (1)...
Hope you have understood it...
