Dear student
Multiply and divide with conjugate base function.
we get , √{(x+a)(x+b)} – x  *  √{(x+a)(x+b)} +x   /   √{(x+a)(x+b)} + x
= (ax + bx) / √{(x+a)(x+b)} + x
Take x common from numerator and denominator
and apply the limit
Ans will be (a+b)
Hope this helps
Good Luck

Dear student
The ans for the above question will be (a+b)/2 because in denominator after taking x common the term left would be 2.
Hope this helps
Good Luck
