the expression can be written as:
x*[1+{(8/x) – 1}^(1/3)]
let y=1/x
so lim y tends to zero [1+(8y-1)^(1/3)]/y
this is 0/0 form, so apply l’hospital rule
 lim y tends to zero 8/3(8y-1)^(2/3)
we get the limit value as 8/3
