This is 0/0 form equation. So, use L-Hospital Rule, Differentiate both upper and lower sides wrt x.
lim ( a cosx - sina )/ (2ax - a^2)
Now lim x->a,
Therefore,
Ans = a cosa - sina/(a)^2

Given expression is in the form of 0/0 as we put a in place of x.
So we apply L-Hospital rule. According to L-Hospital rule differentiate numerator & denominator with respect to x. We get
lim(x tend to a)(acosx-sina)/(2ax-a2)
acosa-sina/ a2
