f'(x) = (2^x -1) * 2 (2^x -2) * 2^x * ln2 + (2^x -2)² *2^x ln2
 
Now
 
Put f'(x) = 0
 
(2^x -2) [(2^(x+1) -2 + 2^x  -2] = 0
 
2^x - 2 = 0
Hence x = 1
 
Also (2^(x+1) + 2^x -4) = 0
