If the normal of any curve is parallel to x axis then I take a point (x1,y1) and then can I do dx/dy = 0 as said that normal is parallel to x axis if the equation of the curve is given by????

normal is parallel to x axis means dy/dx = 0

Dear student

hence dx/dy = infinity

Hope it helps

Thanks and regards

dear student your language of ques is not at all clear and hard to understand.
however, if at some point on the curve the normal is given to be parallel to x axis, then certainly dx/dy= 0 at that point.
