How to differentiate y=(x+cosx)/(tanx) using first principle? please give me the complete solution.

 given y=(x+cosx)/(tanx)

 we know firstb derivative test  lim h tends to 0( f(x+h)-f(x))/h

sorry iam not  solve by using above formula it is so lengthy.It is better to solve u/v method

d/dx((x+cosx)/(tanx))=(tanx.(1-sinx))-((x+cosx).sec2x)/tan2x

=(tanx.(1-sinx))-(secx(1+xsecx))/tan2x

there fore derivative of Y=(tanx.(1-sinx))-(secx(1+xsecx))/tan2x
