How to check limits ? i.e. left and right hand limits?

RHL at x=c = lim h->0( f(c+h)-f(c))/h provided it exist.
LHL at x=c =lim c->0 (f(c-h)-f(c))/(-h) provided it exist.
If LHL=RHL then limit exist and it is equal to the common value of LHL and RHL.
