Ans:
f(x) = \frac{1}{log|x|}
Function log|x| is not defined at x = 0
So x = 0 is a point of discontinuity.
Also for f(x) to be defined,
log|x| \neq 0
x \neq \pm 1
Hence, 1 & -1 are pont of discontinuity.
So there are 3 point of discontinuity {-1, 0, 1}
