f(x) = mod (tan x)

differentiable at x = pi/2

Dear STUDENT NAME,

Ans:- f(x)=|tanx| is a function which is positive everywhere. If we draw the graph of it we can see that we get continuous graph except the points n∏/2 (where n is an integer) because it tends to infinite at those points. As a function which is not continuous at a point is not differentiable at that point also hence at the point ∏/2 |tanx| is not differentiable
