what is the meaning of finding the derivative of a function with respect to a function? for eg finding derivative of sinx w.r.t cosx

differentiation of a function with respect to onother function fives the change in function w.rt to the change in other function.

if you plot a graph taking x axis as cosx and y axix as sinx then slope of graph gives the derivative of cos x w.r.t sinx.
